An Infantry Officer’s Honour Dagger

Model inspired by the Officer’s dagger of the German Wehrmacht, 37 cm., with double edged blade of flattened hexagonal section, fully etched with a geometrical, ornamented pattern; a face bearing the monogram of Tsar Boris III, and the other face bearing Bulgaria’s motto in cyrillic script; patinated metal hilt, the crossguard with lion’s head endings, and its centre bearing the shield with Bulgaria’s lion, while the other side, the Cross of the Order for Military Valour; orange celluloid, spirally moulded grip, its base with a ring decorated with oak leaves; the pommel, shaped as the Bulgarian crown; with original, full metal scabbard with double suspension.
