An early Commanderâs Star of Prince size, 59×47 mm.,, chiseled Silver bearing to its centre the crowned Royal cypher âWâ and the arms with the Orderâs Motto âGUD OG KONGENâ made of chiseled gold lettering, the whole within red enameled border and a beaded golden frame, the reverse with the tiny nuts retaining the obverseâs elements and fitted with typical double pin, jewelerâs mark âAMâ of A. Michelsen, Copenhagen.
A beautiful, preciously-made star from ca. 1870-75, finest quality and excellent condition. I R!
