Gold Military Merit Medal of the Allied Army for the operations against Paraguay

Breast Badge, Gold, of the type awarded to high ranking commanders, instituted on August 20th, 1889, the obverse, with Argentinian coat of arms and inscription around, the reverse, with Argentina`s beaming sun and around "AL VALOR Y LA CONS TANCI A", "LA NACION AGRADECIDA", upper loop and suspension ring.
