Grand Commander's Star, 2nd Class, instituted in 1849. Breast star, 70 mm., with chiseled and pierced rays, the shorter, of the “dagger-type”; the center, in the form of the order’s badge of the knight’s size in gold and enamels; concave, polished reverse, with two nuts and struck with “GEBR: RESCH” “in WIEN”; broad pin, struck with three “A” marks. A superb and rare star! I R!
