ORDER OF THE RED EAGLE

A jeweled 2nd Class neck badge: white enameled cross, 62 x 59 mm., GOLD; centre medallion with white enameled ground and separately made, red enameled Brandenburg eagle, holding green enameled laurel wreath; brilliant-set outer circlet; white enameled reverse medallion, bearing golden, Royal monogram “FW”, around, visble work of the reverse of the stone setting; round loop and long ribbon ring in gold, the obverse of it, set with brilliants, its reverse, of round section, with original, silk neck ribbon.
A very rare, beautifully-made piece from 1880 ca. excellent condition. I R!
