Grand Cross or Grand Officer’s Star, circa 1870-1880. Breast Star, 75 mm, silver gilt, French hallmark (boar’s head) and maker’s mark “Halley”, superimposed parts silver gilt, enameled, thin vertical pin and two side hooks on reverse. Minimal chip to the white enamel otherwise perfect. Excellent old French quality.
